LAPD K-9 USING THE CARPAL-STRIDE

This LAPD K-9 sustained a severe hyperextension injury to the carpal joint while on the job. He underwent surgery and has been using the Carpal-Stride for support while on-the-job and during training for over a year now. He's very active and it's important to allow as much motion as possible for him to stay working as a police dog. This brace allows maximum motion while only preventing the unwanted extension movement so he can continue to run and be active while on duty!

Carpal-Stride

The Carpal-Stride is an ultra-light, durable, effective, and functional brace that was design based off of our experience with custom braces.

  •  This is a carpal hyperextension orthosis (brace that supports the wrist/carpus and prevents it from collapsing backward)  used for dogs with conditions that cause instability, weakness, or damage to the carpal joint resulting in mild to moderate hyperextension.

  • While not only cost effective, this highly functional dog brace offers quality materials with straps and pads that are washable and easily replaceable.

Charlie injured his wrist years ago while running down the stairs and could no longer walk on it. We never thought he'd be able to run again which broke our hearts. The moment Charlie tried on the Carpal-Stride, he became a whole new dog. He runs faster than ever and loves to chase his sister.
